Ovia Deserves Better, Deserves Aiguobarueghian — CIA Media
The media team of Hon. Charity Iguodala Aiguobarueghian, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for the Ovia Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, has called on the people of Ovia North-East and Ovia South-West to support his candidacy ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement titled “Ovia Deserves Better, Ovia Deserves Charity,” the team, operating under the name CIA Media, said the constituency needed purposeful, accountable and result-oriented leadership capable of translating promises into tangible development.
The statement stressed that effective leadership went beyond eloquent speeches and political promises, noting that responsibility, accountability and the ability to deliver meaningful results were essential qualities of a good representative.
It described Aiguobarueghian as a candidate who represents a new generation of leadership capable of addressing the developmental needs of the constituency through effective representation and people-oriented legislation.
According to the statement, the NDC candidate is committed to providing Ovia Federal Constituency with a strong voice in the National Assembly and attracting federal projects and development opportunities to communities across the constituency.
The media team identified improved educational facilities, better healthcare services, rural electrification, access to clean water, solar-powered streetlights, improved road networks and enhanced security as key areas requiring attention.
It also highlighted the need to create more opportunities for young people, support women in business and other productive ventures, and strengthen unity between Ovia North-East and Ovia South-West.
The statement maintained that the constituency had significant development potential but required effective representation and a clear commitment to addressing the needs of its people.
It further urged residents to look beyond political rhetoric and assess candidates based on their capacity to provide responsible leadership, promote development and advance the interests of their constituents.
Calling for support for Aiguobarueghian, the team described the 2027 elections as an opportunity for the people of Ovia Federal Constituency to pursue a new direction in representation under the NDC platform.
