Merogun Calls For Change, Urges Warri South Constituents 1To Reclaim Their Destiny In 2027
Dr. Michael Merogun, popularly known as Miky, has called on the people of Warri South Constituency 1 in Delta State to embrace a new direction of leadership, insisting that the time has come for the constituency to experience meaningful change and purposeful representation.
Merogun, a 2027 House of Assembly hopeful under the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), made the appeal while expressing concern over the hardship and challenges confronting residents, stressing that the people deserve leadership that understands their everyday struggles and is committed to addressing their needs.
He noted that the constituency could no longer afford to remain trapped in the cycle of unfulfilled expectations, urging residents to take an active role in determining their political future by supporting a leadership with a genuine understanding of their circumstances.
According to him, effective representation must go beyond political promises and must be driven by accessibility, practical solutions, commitment and a clear understanding of the realities facing ordinary people.
Presenting himself as a grassroots-oriented candidate, Merogun described himself as a product of the people, with the experience and understanding required to connect with their concerns and champion their interests.
He further called on the electorate to rally behind his aspiration, describing the 2027 election as an opportunity to redirect the political future of Warri South Constituency 1.
Urging residents to come out in large numbers and support his candidacy, Merogun declared that the time had come for a new chapter in the constituency's political history.
His campaign message, anchored on the slogan "Let's Light Up Warri South Again — 2027," underscores his call for renewed hope, responsive representation and a leadership that places the people at the centre of governance.
