Nwifuru’s FON 4-Tech Initiative Is Opening New Opportunities For Ebonyi Youths — Nwedu

A member of the Ebonyi State Internal Revenue Service (EBSIRS), Hon. Nwedu Abraham Nwedu, has commended Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for opening new opportunities for young people in the state through the FON 4-Tech Initiative.

Nwedu said the one-week free training programme in Web Development, Graphic Design, Web3 and AI Automation was another demonstration of the Governor’s commitment to equipping Ebonyi youths with relevant skills for the emerging digital economy.

According to him, the initiative goes beyond conventional training, describing it as a strategic investment in the future of young people and the economic development of the state.

He noted that by providing access to digital skills, the administration is empowering young Ebonyians to learn, create, innovate and transform their ideas and talents into meaningful opportunities.

“This is more than just training; it is an investment in the future of our young people. By creating access to digital skills, Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru is helping Ebonyians learn, create, innovate and transform their ideas into opportunities,” Nwedu said.

He stressed that a government that invests in human capital is laying the foundation for a stronger and more prosperous future, particularly at a time when technology and digital skills are increasingly shaping employment and entrepreneurship.

Nwedu further described the initiative as a reflection of the Governor’s People’s Charter of Needs, saying the programme demonstrates that the administration is not only focused on physical infrastructure but also on developing the people who will drive Ebonyi’s future.

“The People’s Charter of Needs is truly a blessing to Ebonyi people. A Governor who invests in people is building a stronger future for the state,” he added.

Nwedu commended Governor Nwifuru for what he described as his continued commitment to creating opportunities for the people, particularly the younger generation.

He declared that with initiatives such as FON 4-Tech, “the opportunities are here, the future is digital, and FON is working.”

He concluded with a renewed declaration of support for the Governor, saying: “FON till 2031. The work continues.”
