Nwifuru Has Restored Peace, Unity, Confidence In Ebonyi — Nwedu
A member of the Ebonyi State Internal Revenue Service (EBSIRS), Hon. Nwedu Abraham Nwedu, has commended Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for what he described as the unprecedented peace, stability and unity being witnessed across Ebonyi State under the present administration.
Nwedu said the Governor’s People’s Charter of Needs administration had demonstrated that effective leadership goes beyond the construction of roads and other physical infrastructure, stressing that genuine governance must also prioritise peace, trust, unity and the welfare of the people.
According to him, since the creation of Ebonyi State, the people have continued to desire leadership capable of creating an atmosphere where citizens can live peacefully, pursue their aspirations and contribute meaningfully to the development of the state.
He said Governor Nwifuru’s administration had given Ebonyians renewed confidence that peace and good governance could work together to produce meaningful transformation.
“Governor Nwifuru has made Ebonyi people believe that peace is possible, unity is achievable, and good governance can truly put the people first,” Nwedu said.
He added that the administration’s approach to governance had shown that development was not limited to physical projects, but also involved building trust between government and the people, restoring confidence in public institutions and strengthening unity among communities.
Nwedu noted that the peaceful atmosphere being experienced in the state was particularly important because sustainable development could only thrive where citizens feel secure and communities enjoy stability.
He described Governor Nwifuru as a symbol of peace, purposeful leadership and people-centred governance, maintaining that the achievements of the administration would continue to shape the future of Ebonyi State.
“Today, the peace being experienced across Ebonyi State is a powerful reminder that when a leader genuinely understands the needs of his people and places their welfare at the heart of governance, meaningful transformation is possible,” he said.
Nwedu expressed support for the continuation of the Governor’s leadership beyond 2027, declaring: “FON till 2031.”
