Gisaor Tasks Nigerian Youths On Peace, Unity Ahead Of 2027 Elections

…Calls For Support For Tinubu, Alia’s Second-Term Bid
The Executive Director, Housing Finance and Account, Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Dr. Vincent Iorja Gisaor, has urged Nigerian youths to embrace peace, unity and tolerance as the country prepares for the 2027 general elections.

Gisaor made the call at the weekend during the APC Youth Congress held in Akpehe, Makurdi Local Government Area of Benue State.

He cautioned youths against violence, animosity and other forms of division that could threaten the peace and stability of the country, stressing that young Nigerians have a critical role to play in ensuring a peaceful electoral process.
The FHA Executive Director described the youths as the strength and future of the nation, urging them to remain united and work together in pursuit of their collective aspirations.

He also advised them to resist attempts by politicians and other individuals to use them as instruments of violence, intimidation or division, particularly as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 elections.

Gisaor further called on youths, especially members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, in the 2027 general elections.
According to him, returning Tinubu and Alia to office would enable both leaders to consolidate the achievements of their administrations and sustain the implementation of policies and programmes designed to improve the welfare of the people.

He pledged his continued support for the youths, assuring them of his commitment to working closely with them and supporting initiatives that would promote unity, peace and development.

Speaking on behalf of the youths, the APC Youth Leader of Ipusu Community in Makurdi, Hon. Luis Ayoosu, pledged the total and unflinching support of Ipusu youths for President Tinubu and Governor Alia ahead of the 2027 elections.

Ayoosu described the youths of Ipusu as law-abiding citizens, saying they would not allow anything to divide them or distract them from their determination to support the re-election of the two leaders.
He called for continued unity among the youths and urged them to remain peaceful and focused as the nation approaches the 2027 elections.

Also speaking, the Special Assistant to Dr. Gisaor on Youth Affairs, Hon. Ngutor Pinega; Personal Assistant to the Governor of Benue State on LGA Market Coordination and Monitoring, Hon. Paul Shom; and the Jechira APC Youth Leader, Hon. Jacob Akaabo, commended Gisaor for what they described as his timely intervention in youth affairs.

They particularly appreciated him for his efforts toward resolving the wranglings within the Jechira youth community, noting that his intervention had contributed to restoring understanding and unity among the youths.

They urged the youths to sustain the spirit of peaceful coexistence and unity while working collectively for the development of their communities and the state.
