Nwedu Describes Governor Nwifuru As 'Promise-Keeping Governor,' Expresses Confidence In His Leadership Ahead Of 2027
Hon. Nwedu Abraham Nwedu, a member of the Ebonyi State Board of Internal Revenue (EBSIRS), has described the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt. Hon. Bldr. Prnc. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, FNIOB, FCAI, GGCEHF, as a "Promise-Keeping Governor" whose administration has consistently translated campaign commitments into tangible development projects across the state.
In a statement made available to journalists, Nwedu said Governor Nwifuru has demonstrated that effective leadership is measured by visible achievements and impactful governance rather than political rhetoric.
According to him, the People's Charter of Needs agenda has driven significant investments in critical sectors, including education, healthcare, road infrastructure, agriculture, human capital development, workers' welfare, and economic empowerment, with projects spread across the 13 local government areas of Ebonyi State.
He noted that the governor's administration has continued to deliver on its promises through people-oriented policies and programmes that have improved the lives of residents and accelerated the state's socio-economic development.
Nwedu described Governor Nwifuru as a leader whose actions consistently match his words, adding that this has earned him widespread support and admiration among many Ebonyians.
Expressing confidence in the governor's political future, Nwedu stated that the achievements recorded under the present administration have strengthened public confidence in Governor Nwifuru's leadership and positioned him strongly ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
He maintained that the administration's record of performance has become its strongest campaign message, arguing that voters are more likely to evaluate leaders based on their accomplishments and the impact of their policies on the lives of the people.
