JUAofAfrica: My Ambition Is To Make Service Meaningful To The People Of Aniocha South

The Delta State House of Assembly candidate for Aniocha South Constituency under the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Jeffrey Ugochukwu Adigwe, popularly known as JUAofAfrica, has reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people with humility, integrity and a genuine sense of responsibility.

Adigwe, in a message to the people of Aniocha South and Delta State, acknowledged that no leader is perfect, stressing that what matters is the willingness to listen, learn, accept responsibility and continuously work towards improving the lives of the people.

He said his aspiration is not simply about occupying a political office, but about making representation meaningful and ensuring that constituents feel heard, respected, valued and adequately represented.

According to him, effective leadership requires humility to listen to the people, courage to take action and accountability to acknowledge mistakes and make necessary corrections.

Adigwe also said he recognises and respects the efforts and sacrifices of those who have served before him, noting that his intention is not to dismiss past contributions but to build on achievements, learn from previous experiences and pursue better outcomes for the people.

A Commitment to the Future

The NDC candidate said his vision is focused on contributing to a future where the aspirations of communities are matched by practical action, responsible leadership and greater opportunities for young people.

He has identified areas including youth empowerment, infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, entrepreneurship and support for local businesses as important components of his broader vision for Aniocha South.

Adigwe maintained that development must be inclusive, stressing the importance of ensuring that communities, families, youths, women, farmers and entrepreneurs all have opportunities to participate in and benefit from economic growth.

He further emphasised the importance of accountability and accessibility in public office, saying elected representatives should maintain a strong connection with the people they serve.

"I may not be perfect, but I promise to remain humble enough to listen, courageous enough to act, and accountable enough to accept my mistakes and improve," he stated.

Adigwe's message reflects a leadership philosophy centred on service rather than personal recognition, with emphasis on humility, collaboration, transparency and continuous engagement with constituents.

He called on the people of Aniocha South to work together beyond political differences, saying the future of the constituency should be a shared responsibility.

The House of Assembly candidate expressed confidence that by building on what has been achieved, correcting areas that require improvement and embracing new opportunities, Aniocha South can move towards a stronger and more prosperous future.

He therefore reaffirmed his commitment to the people, stressing that his aspiration is ultimately about the collective interest of the constituency and the future of generations yet unborn.

"This is not about me. It is about us, our people, and the future we choose to build together," Adigwe said.

He called for continued support for the NDC and his aspiration, while urging residents to remain united, peaceful and focused on the development of Aniocha South.
