JUAofAfrica Advocates Peaceful Politics, Responsible Leadership, Development-Focused Representation In Aniocha South
The Delta State House of Assembly candidate for Aniocha South Constituency under the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Jeffrey Ugochukwu Adigwe, popularly known as JUAofAfrica, has called for peaceful, responsible and issue-based political engagement ahead of the 2027 elections.
Adigwe urged political actors and residents of Aniocha South to make the development of the constituency the central focus of their political participation, stressing that leadership should be about service, responsibility and improving the lives of the people.
According to him, the people deserve representatives who are accessible, accountable, transparent and prepared to listen to their concerns while working with relevant stakeholders to address the challenges confronting their communities.
He said his vision for Aniocha South is built around youth empowerment, improved infrastructure, quality education and healthcare, agricultural development, entrepreneurship, women empowerment and stronger support for local businesses.
Adigwe also emphasised the importance of creating sustainable opportunities rather than relying solely on temporary interventions, noting that young people should be equipped with the skills, resources and opportunities required to become economically productive and independent.
The NDC candidate said effective representation should extend beyond legislative duties to include identifying the genuine needs of constituents, advocating policies that address those needs, pursuing development opportunities and maintaining regular engagement with the grassroots.
He further called for greater collaboration among traditional rulers, community leaders, youths, women, farmers, traders, professionals and other stakeholders, saying the collective participation of the people remains essential to sustainable development.
Leadership Built on Character and Service
Adigwe maintained that political office should be regarded as a sacred responsibility to the people and not merely as a position of influence or personal recognition.
He said his aspiration is anchored on integrity, humility, compassion, transparency, accountability and selfless service, promising to remain responsive to the people if elected.
He also urged political supporters to campaign with respect and discipline, saying differences in political opinion should never become reasons for division, hostility or violence.
"Our politics should be about the people, their aspirations and the future we want to build for the next generation. We can disagree politically without losing respect for one another," he said.
Adigwe encouraged voters to carefully examine the character, competence, vision and capacity of candidates before making their choices in 2027.
He expressed confidence that Aniocha South can achieve greater progress when leadership and citizens work together towards common goals.
According to him, his ambition is ultimately about building a constituency where communities receive meaningful attention, young people have opportunities to succeed, families can prosper and residents have confidence that their representative will genuinely speak for them.
As political activities gradually intensify ahead of the 2027 election, JUAofAfrica urged residents to remain peaceful, informed and united, stressing that the development of Aniocha South should remain greater than political differences.
He reaffirmed his commitment to service to the people, saying his aspiration is driven by the desire to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of Aniocha South.
“Together, we can build an Aniocha South where every voice matters, opportunities are expanded and development reaches our communities,” Adigwe stated.
