NDC National Youth Wing Coordinator Celebrates Nigerian Youths On International Youth Day 2026

The National Youth Wing of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has felicitated with Nigerian youths on the occasion of the 2026 International Youth Day, describing young people as the heartbeat of the nation and a critical force for progress and national development.

In a goodwill message marking the celebration, the NDC National Youth Wing Coordinator, Hon. Ajodo Onuh, commended Nigerian youths for their resilience, creativity, courage and determination in pursuing their aspirations and contributing meaningfully to the development of the country despite prevailing challenges.

Onuh noted that Nigerian youths possess the ideas, energy and capacity required to shape the future of the nation, stressing that their voices, participation and contributions to leadership and nation-building remain essential.

He urged young Nigerians to remain confident in their ability to create positive change and contribute to building the Nigeria they desire.

According to him, the NDC National Youth Wing remains committed to promoting youth inclusion, empowerment and greater opportunities for young Nigerians across the country.

He further called on youths to continue harnessing their creativity and potential while actively participating in efforts aimed at strengthening democracy, advancing development and building a more prosperous and inclusive Nigeria.

“Happy International Youth Day to every Nigerian youth. Together, we can build a stronger, more prosperous and inclusive Nigeria,” Onuh said.

International Youth Day is observed annually on August 12 to highlight issues affecting young people and celebrate their contributions to society.
