Edo South: Give A Mother A Chance, Heritage Hub Urges Voters

The Edo South Heritage Hub has called on voters in Edo South Senatorial District to support Comrade Mrs. Osayuki Epelle-Asemota in the 2027 Senate election, describing her as a woman with the experience, capacity and compassion required to provide effective representation.

In a statement, the Heritage Hub said leadership goes beyond occupying a political office, stressing that true leadership requires understanding the people, listening to their concerns and having the courage and compassion to serve them.

It described Epelle-Asemota as an accomplished woman, wife, mother, education-sector leader and former State Chairperson of the Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools (ASUSS), Edo State.

According to the statement, her experience in education and leadership has equipped her with a deep understanding of responsibility, community needs and the everyday realities confronting families and residents across Edo South.

The Heritage Hub urged the people of Edo South to look beyond conventional political calculations and make their choice based on capacity, compassion and credible representation.

“Let us give a woman a chance. Let us give a mother a mandate,” the statement declared.

Epelle-Asemota is the New Democratic Congress (NDC) Senatorial candidate for Edo South in the 2027 general election.

The Heritage Hub, which promotes culture, people, enterprise and development, described her candidacy as an opportunity for Edo South to embrace a different approach to political representation.
