Agbomhere Congratulates Okpebholo At 56, Hails Governor’s Leadership, Development Drive

The immediate past Chairman of the Edo State Ecological Funding, Climate Change and Management Commission, and former South-South Zonal Organising Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Blessing Agbomhere, has congratulated the Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on the occasion of his 56th birthday.
In a congratulatory message released through his media office, Agbomhere described Governor Okpebholo as a leader whose administration has demonstrated a strong commitment to the development and welfare of the people of Edo State.
He said the emergence of Okpebholo as governor had ushered in what he described as a new phase of sustainable development, peace and progress across the state.
Agbomhere particularly commended the governor for what he described as “friendly policies and programmes” with direct impact on the lives of Edo residents, noting that the administration’s focus on practical governance had continued to inspire confidence among the people.
The former APC South-South Zonal Organising Secretary also praised Okpebholo for his leadership qualities and performance since assuming office, describing his leadership style as focused on delivering meaningful development to the people.
Agbomhere, who previously served as Chairman of the Edo State Ecological Funding, Climate Change and Management Commission, also expressed confidence in the governor’s commitment to addressing critical development and environmental challenges confronting the state.
While wishing Governor Okpebholo a glorious 56th birthday anniversary, Agbomhere prayed for continued wisdom, sound health, strength and greater energy for the governor as he carries on with the responsibility of providing purposeful governance to the people of Edo State.
He expressed optimism that the governor would continue to consolidate the gains of his administration and pursue initiatives capable of improving the quality of life and creating greater opportunities for Edo residents.
Governor Okpebholo, who was born in 1970, assumed office as Governor of Edo State on November 12, 2024, after previously serving as Senator representing Edo Central Senatorial District.
