Delta First Lady Extends Free Medical Outreach To Children With Special Needs In Ethiope Federal Constituency
The Delta State First Lady and Founder of the You Matter Charity Foundation, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, has continued the second phase of the Foundation’s free medical outreach programme for children living with autism and other special needs, with a visit to Ethiope Federal Constituency.
The outreach provided free medical consultations, health education, medications, wheelchairs, assistive educational devices, and other essential support materials aimed at improving the health, wellbeing, and quality of life of children with special needs.
Speaking during the exercise, Deaconess Oborevwori reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to extending its humanitarian interventions to all federal constituencies across Delta State, ensuring that vulnerable children and families receive the support they need.
She stressed that every child deserves dignity, care, and love, noting that building an inclusive society requires collective responsibility and compassion towards persons living with disabilities and special needs.
According to her, the vision of the You Matter Charity Foundation is anchored on the belief that “Everybody is Somebody,” and that no child should be left behind regardless of their condition.
The initiative is part of the Foundation’s broader efforts to promote inclusion, improve access to healthcare, and provide meaningful support for children with special needs across Delta State.
