The Governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, has reaffirmed the unity of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, dismissing speculations of internal divisions and pledging fairness among aspirants ahead of forthcoming political activities.

In a press statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Monday Uzor, following a series of stakeholder engagement meetings, the governor expressed appreciation to party leaders and members for their commitment and constructive contributions toward strengthening the party.

Governor Nwifuru emphasized that the APC in Ebonyi remains “one indivisible family,” assuring that all aspirants seeking various elective positions would be given equal consideration, in line with agreements reached during the consultations.

He described such claims as unfounded and the handiwork of individuals attempting to create discord within the party, stressing that both leaders continue to work collaboratively for the progress of the APC in the state.

On the issue of consensus candidacy, Governor Nwifuru noted that any outstanding concerns would be resolved amicably through dialogue. He also disclosed plans to meet with all aspirants to ensure inclusiveness and mutual understanding.
