APC Imo Directs Assembly Aspirants to Submit Completed Nomination Forms

All aspirants seeking seats in the Imo State House of Assembly under the All Progressives Congress (APC) have been directed to submit their completed Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms, as the party begins the formal screening process.

In an urgent notice issued by the State Secretary of the party, Hon. Onyekachi Ibezim, aspirants who have purchased the forms are required to prepare ten (10) complete copies of their submissions. Each set must include all necessary supporting documents such as proof of payment, party membership card, Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC), educational certificates, tax clearance certificate, a sworn affidavit of undertaking, and the State Secretary’s clearance certificate.

According to the notice, submission of the completed forms will commence on Monday, May 4, 2026, at exactly 10:00 a.m. The exercise will take place at the APC State Party Secretariat located at 47 Okigwe Road, Owerri.

The party emphasized strict compliance, warning that only aspirants with complete documentation in the required ten sets will be attended to, while incomplete submissions will be rejected.

The directive underscores the APC’s efforts to ensure a smooth and organized nomination process ahead of the forthcoming legislative elections in the state.
