According to him, the task before the people is to harness these strengths through purposeful leadership and people-oriented representation capable of translating their collective aspirations into tangible development.

The NDC candidate stressed that effective representation must be rooted in listening to the people, responding to their needs and maintaining accountability throughout the period of service.

He maintained that the ambition to represent Southern Ijaw at the National Assembly must go beyond partisan politics and focus on creating opportunities, improving living conditions and securing a brighter future for present and coming generations.

Leghemo also urged residents to remain hopeful and united in their pursuit of improved infrastructure, expanded opportunities for young people, women's empowerment and sustainable community development.

He emphasised the importance of constructive engagement and collective responsibility, noting that the future of Southern Ijaw depends on the willingness of its people to work together towards common goals.

He called on the people of Southern Ijaw to make their voices count at the ballot on January 16, 2027, by voting for the NDC, describing the election as an opportunity for the electorate to express its aspirations for the future of the constituency.

Leghemo concluded by reaffirming his commitment to a leadership approach that prioritises the people, promotes inclusive development and places the long-term interests of Southern Ijaw above narrow political considerations.
