The governor’s tour begins on October 21, 2026, with engagements in Igueben, Esan West and Esan Central scheduled for October 22 and 23.
The visit is expected to provide an opportunity for direct interaction between the state government and residents, community leaders and other stakeholders, while enabling the administration to assess the development needs and priorities of communities across the senatorial district.
Eseigbe described the governor’s visit as an opportunity to strengthen engagement between the government and the people at the grassroots.
He said the interactive tour underscores the importance of responsive leadership, regular communication with communities and inclusive development.
The APC candidate expressed confidence that the governor’s engagements would provide a platform for residents to communicate their concerns, aspirations and expectations directly to the state government.
The tour is expected to attract political leaders, traditional rulers, community representatives, youths, women and other stakeholders across Igueben, Esan West and Esan Central.
For Eseigbe, who is seeking election to represent the federal constituency in the House of Representatives, the visit also highlights the importance of cooperation between grassroots communities, the state government and federal lawmakers in advancing development.
He urged residents of the three local government areas to give Governor Okpebholo a warm reception and participate actively in the scheduled engagements.
According to him, sustained communication between the government and the people remains essential to identifying pressing needs, setting development priorities and delivering projects that directly improve the lives of residents.
As preparations continue for the governor’s engagements across Esanland, Eseigbe expressed optimism that the visit would further strengthen the relationship between the state government and the people of the constituency.
He reaffirmed the readiness of the constituency to welcome the governor, expressing hope that the interactive tour would deepen grassroots participation in governance and advance development across Edo Central.
