Edo North 2027: Oisamoje Promises New Hope, Urges Constituents To Demand Better Representation

As the 2027 general elections approach, the political conversation in Edo North Senatorial District is gradually shifting towards leadership, accountability and the need for effective representation, with Mrs Iseme Maria Oisamoje emerging as a voice calling for a new direction.

Oisamoje, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) senatorial candidate for Edo North, has urged voters to critically compare the outgoing senator's performance with the promise of a new representation, insisting that the Afemai Nation deserves more than its present circumstances.

In a message directed at the electorate, she described the difference between the outgoing senator and the leadership she hopes to provide as being comparable to the difference between day and night, expressing confidence that her candidacy represents an opportunity for a fresh beginning.

According to her campaign message, Edo North possesses enormous human and economic potential that should translate into improved living conditions, greater opportunities for young people and stronger advocacy for the interests of its constituent communities.

She maintained that the district deserves purposeful representation capable of amplifying the people's concerns, promoting development and ensuring that their aspirations receive the attention they deserve.

With the declaration, "The light is here. ISEME is here. Hope is here. OUR OWN SENATOR IS HERE," Oisamoje's campaign is positioning her candidacy as a symbol of hope and the possibility of a new political chapter for Edo North.

Her message also emphasises the importance of voters making informed choices at the polls, presenting the 2027 elections as an opportunity for constituents to reflect on their expectations and decide the kind of representation they want for the future.

As political activities gather momentum, Oisamoje and the NDC are seeking to rally support across the senatorial district, with the campaign urging voters to support the party at the polls.
