2027: Osawaru’s Supporters Call For Continuity In Orhionmwon/Uhunmwode

Supporters of Hon. Chief Dr. Billy Famous Adesuwa Osawaru have called for his re-election in 2027, urging voters in Orhionmwon/Uhunmwode Federal Constituency of Edo State to support continuity and consolidate on what they described as the gains recorded during his first term in the House of Representatives.

The supporters, under the banner of Billy Media, said Osawaru’s performance in office had demonstrated the importance of effective representation, citing his commitment to empowerment, accessibility and constituency projects aimed at addressing the needs of the people.

In a statement advocating a second term for the lawmaker, the group argued that continuity would provide an opportunity to build on the foundation already laid and sustain development efforts across the constituency.

According to the group, leadership should be assessed based on its impact on the people, stressing that representation must go beyond promises to deliver tangible benefits to constituents.

Using the analogy of a flowing river to describe Osawaru’s representation, the supporters maintained that the lawmaker had demonstrated the potential to sustain progress in Orhionmwon and Uhunmwode.

They also called on constituents to consider the importance of consolidating existing achievements rather than opting for an uncertain alternative ahead of the 2027 general election.

“The journey is not over, and the work must continue,” the group stated, expressing confidence that a second term would enable the lawmaker to build on his record and pursue further development initiatives.

The supporters further urged voters to rally behind Osawaru under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing his re-election bid as a call for continuity, consolidation and sustained progress in the federal constituency.
