Reformation Song Sparks Patriotic Display At Niger Delta Youth Parliament Event
The Reformation Song, a nation-building musical project created by Pan-African development writer and nation-building coach, Ledogo Amabu Bariasuaka Ledogo, was performed live at the Niger Delta Youth Extraordinary Convergence organised by the Niger Delta Youth Parliament in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
The performance, held on Monday, August 31, 2026, featured Amabu and the Reformation Song crew, including Chuks Paschal, who joined him on stage as participants and guests sang, danced and waved Nigerian national flags.
Amabu, who was invited to speak at the event on results-based governance in the Niger Delta, said he decided to attend with the Reformation team to use music and culture to reinforce the message of patriotism and responsible citizenship.
The Reformation Song, according to its creators, is a civic and cultural call for unity of purpose, patriotic leadership and love for Nigeria. Its message focuses on conscience, responsibility, shared nationhood and collective action towards a better country.
The live performance was described as a powerful expression of patriotism and nation-building, with the audience joining in the singing and celebration.
Amabu said the Reformation project is designed to take the message beyond conventional political and civic engagements by using music and culture to mobilise communities, particularly young people, towards responsible citizenship and national development.
He has also invited communities, schools, youth groups, cultural organisations and political events across Nigeria and Africa to engage the Reformation Song crew for live performances.
The official Reformation Song video is available on the WaaGovernment YouTube Channel, while the song is also being promoted across music streaming platforms.
Amabu, who is the author of the WaaGovernment Book Project and Convener of the Love For Country Movement, urged Nigerians and Africans to embrace the Reformation message and translate patriotic ideals into collective action for sustainable national development.
The project is being promoted under the #WaaGovernment brand as part of efforts to encourage unity, responsible leadership, civic consciousness and faith in a productive Nigeria and Africa.
