Nwifuru’s Projects Reflect People-Centred Governance, Visible Development — Nwedu
Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has continued to demonstrate that effective governance goes beyond making promises, but involves identifying the needs of the people and translating them into tangible projects, impactful programmes and sustainable development.
According to a member of the Ebonyi State Board of Internal Revenue Service (EBSIRS), Nwedu Abraham Nwedu, the transformation taking place across the state reflects the administration’s commitment to purposeful leadership and practical governance through the People’s Charter of Needs.
Nwedu noted that Governor Nwifuru has placed the welfare and aspirations of Ebonyians at the centre of his administration, with interventions across critical sectors designed to address the everyday needs of the people and improve their quality of life.
He said one notable feature of the administration is the attention being given to the quality and standard of projects across the state, stressing that many of the ongoing interventions demonstrate planning, attention to detail and a commitment to delivering projects that will provide lasting value to communities.
“Today, across Ebonyi State, the story is becoming clearer — a story of purposeful leadership, practical governance and visible development,” Nwedu said.
He added that the impact of the administration’s programmes and projects is becoming increasingly visible across different communities, describing the People’s Charter of Needs as a governance philosophy that connects government policies with the genuine needs of the people.
Nwedu further expressed confidence that the ongoing development efforts would continue to contribute to a greater and more prosperous Ebonyi State, saying the evidence of government intervention was visible while the work remained ongoing.
He described Governor Nwifuru as a leader committed to leaving behind meaningful footprints through projects and programmes capable of benefiting present and future generations.
“The evidence is visible. The transformation is ongoing. The work continues,” Nwedu stated.
He commended Governor Nwifuru for what he described as his commitment to people-centred governance and reaffirmed his support for the administration’s development agenda.
