Gisaor Charges APC Support Groups On Tinubu, Alia’s Re-Election

The Executive Director, Housing Finance and Accounts, Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Dr. Vincent Iorja Gisaor, has charged coordinators of APC support groups in Benue State and across Nigeria to intensify grassroots mobilisation for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Gisaor gave the charge when 11 council ward coordinators of various support groups in Makurdi Local Government Area, alongside members of the Alia Possibility Network in Jemgbagh, paid him a solidarity visit at his residence in Makurdi at the weekend.
The Executive Director reaffirmed his commitment to the support groups, assuring the coordinators that, as a member of the constituency, he would continue to identify with them and support their legitimate activities.

He urged the coordinators to strengthen their grassroots structures, engage more extensively with communities and stakeholders, and mobilise additional support for the APC ahead of the 2027 elections.
Gisaor also advised leaders of the support groups to remain law-abiding, peaceful and disciplined, while adopting effective strategies for campaigns, consultations and grassroots mobilisation in line with existing laws.

Earlier, Elder Yaji, Mrs. Victoria Jigba and Japhet Orshio expressed the commitment of the support groups to the re-election campaigns of President Tinubu and Governor Alia.
The coordinators also appealed to Gisaor for assistance to improve their mobility and facilitate grassroots mobilisation across various wards and constituencies.

In separate remarks, Daniel Shagba, Ahijo and Moses Tyongi called for increased opportunities for federal appointments and employment for qualified youths and other constituents from Benue State.
In a vote of thanks, the Chief of Staff to the Executive Director, Hon. Terkura Wuar, appreciated the coordinators for the solidarity visit and urged them to remain committed to their support for President Tinubu and Governor Alia.
