Diri To Address Bayelsans, Hold Live Media Chat As Bayelsa Marks 30th Anniversary

Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, will on Thursday, October 1, 2026, address the people of the state as part of activities marking the 30th anniversary of the creation of Bayelsa State.

The statewide address, scheduled for 10am, will be broadcast live on all Yenagoa-based radio and television stations.

The address will be followed by a 60-minute live media chat with the governor, scheduled for 11am.

The media chat will be broadcast on Arise Television, the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Yenagoa, Bayelsa State Television and all radio stations across the state.

Both the statewide address and the media chat will take place at the Governor’s Conference Hall, Government House, Yenagoa.
