Agbonkhehi Pledges One Vision, One Esanland Ahead Of 2027 Election

Dr. Charles Agbonkhehi, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for the Esan West, Esan Central and Igueben Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, has pledged to promote unity, accountability and effective representation as key priorities of his campaign.

Agbonkhehi, speaking through his campaign message, said his vision for the constituency is anchored on a united Esan people working together towards shared development goals.

Under the theme, “One Vision, One Esanland (Òtòta N' Esan),” the candidate called on the people of Esanland to put aside divisions and embrace a common vision for the future.

According to Agbonkhehi, the people of Esan share a common heritage, identity and destiny, making unity essential to achieving meaningful development and stronger representation.

He declared his commitment to representing the interests of the people of Esan West, Esan Central and Igueben, while promoting transparency, integrity and accountability in public service.

Agbonkhehi also emphasised the importance of preserving and respecting Esan culture and traditions, describing collective action and unity as necessary steps towards building what he called the “Esanland of our dreams.”

His campaign message is centred on the declaration: “One Esan, One Voice, One Vision,” reflecting his stated desire to bring the people of the constituency together around a common development agenda.

The NDC unveiled Agbonkhehi alongside other Edo State candidates for the Senate and House of Representatives at a presentation in Benin City on August 26, 2026.

As the 2027 general elections approach, Agbonkhehi is taking his message of unity, shared purpose and effective representation to voters across Esan West, Esan Central and Igueben Federal Constituency.
