ADC Zone One Takes Grassroots Mobilisation Drive To Lere LGA

The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Kaduna State Chapter, has continued its grassroots engagement tour with a visit to Lere Local Government Area, as part of efforts to strengthen the party’s structures ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The engagement, which formed part of Day Three of the ADC Zone One Engagement Tour, brought together members of the State Executive Committee and Zone One Executive Committee for consultations with the Lere Local Government leadership, party stakeholders and members.
The delegation comprised the ADC State Treasurer, State Financial Secretary, State Legal Adviser, State Departmental Secretary, State Departmental Publicity Secretary, Zone One Chairman and Zonal Secretary.

During the engagement, the delegation held discussions with the Lere LGA leadership and stakeholders on the need to consolidate the party’s organisational structure from the polling unit through the ward to the local government level.
Key issues discussed included strengthening internal coordination, promoting unity among members, improving grassroots mobilisation and ensuring effective participation of party members in preparation for the 2027 general elections.

The delegation also emphasised the importance of building a strong and functional grassroots structure capable of connecting the party with communities and ensuring that members at the polling-unit and ward levels remain actively involved in the party’s activities.
The Zone One leadership expressed appreciation to the Lere LGA leadership, stakeholders and members for their warm reception, active participation and commitment to the continued growth of the ADC in the local government and Kaduna State.

The engagement tour is expected to provide the party with an opportunity to assess its structures, strengthen relationships with grassroots stakeholders and deepen coordination across the various levels of the organisation ahead of the 2027 elections.
