Niger Delta Supportive Force Meets To Strengthen NDC, Mobilise Support For Obi, Dickson Ahead Of 2027

The Niger Delta Supportive Force (NDSF) has intensified efforts to strengthen the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of the 2027 General Elections, with a renewed commitment to mobilising support for the party and its leadership.

This was disclosed by Hon. Preye Emotonghan following a crucial executive meeting with a prominent Niger Delta leader, where discussions centred on strategies to grow and consolidate the NDC across the Niger Delta region and beyond.
According to Emotonghan, the meeting was driven by a common purpose: to build a stronger political structure capable of delivering victory for the NDC in the 2027 elections.

He further stated that the group is prepared to support the presidential ambition of Peter Obi, while also promoting the endorsement and leadership of Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, stressing the importance of unity and collective action among Niger Delta stakeholders.
Emotonghan described the engagement as part of the broader courtship and mobilisation efforts of the Niger Delta Supportive Force, aimed at bringing together individuals and groups committed to the growth of the NDC and the emergence of a new political direction in Nigeria.

He called for greater cooperation, unity of purpose and sustained grassroots mobilisation, noting that the 2027 election would require all committed supporters to work together with one soul and a shared vision.
“Our purpose is one: to grow the Nigeria Democratic Congress, strengthen our structures and work together for victory in the 2027 General Elections.”

The NDSF, he added, remains committed to engaging stakeholders across the Niger Delta and building the necessary political momentum for the NDC ahead of the 2027 polls.
