NDC National Youth Coordinator Commends Bayelsa Coordinator, Urges State Leaders To Intensify Grassroots Mobilisation

The National Youth Coordinator of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Ajodo Onuh, has commended the Bayelsa State NDC Youth Wing Coordinator, Hon. Isoun Douye McCarthy, for his exemplary leadership, unwavering commitment, and dedication to strengthening the party's structure at the grassroots level.

In a statement, Onuh praised Hon. McCarthy for his outstanding efforts in organising and mobilising members, as well as ensuring active youth participation in party activities across Bayelsa State. He described the coordinator's commitment and effectiveness as a shining example of purposeful leadership within the party.

According to the National Youth Coordinator, effective leadership goes beyond occupying a position, stressing that true leadership is measured by the ability to inspire, unite, and deliver meaningful results through action.

He noted that the successful coordination of youth activities in Bayelsa serves as a model worthy of emulation by party leaders across the country, adding that Hon. McCarthy's dedication has contributed significantly to the visibility, growth, and grassroots acceptance of the NDC in the state.

Ajodo Onuh also used the opportunity to call on all NDC Youth Wing State Coordinators across the federation to replicate the Bayelsa example by prioritising grassroots mobilisation, strengthening party structures, and encouraging greater youth participation in the activities of the party.

"It is time for every State Coordinator to move beyond titles and focus on measurable achievements. Organising members, mobilising young people, and carrying out impactful programmes that advance the vision and ideals of the Nigeria Democratic Congress should remain our collective priority," he stated.

The National Youth Coordinator further emphasised that the future and electoral success of the party depend largely on the commitment and dedication of its youth leaders at the state level. He urged them to remain united, proactive, and focused on building a formidable political movement ahead of future elections.

Reaffirming his confidence in the capacity of young party leaders nationwide, Onuh expressed optimism that through sustained dedication, unity, and hard work, the party would continue to expand its reach and strengthen its position as a credible platform for national development.
