Gisaor Urges APC Members To Remain Steadfast With Alia, Tinubu
The Executive Director (Housing Finance and Account), Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Dr. Vincent Iorja Gisaor, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to remain steadfast and committed to the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the leadership of Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia of Benue State.
Dr. Gisaor made the call when he received APC women leaders from Fiidi Council Ward and members of the United Friends Association, both in Makurdi Local Government Area, who paid solidarity visits to his residence in Makurdi.
He appreciated the groups for their support and solidarity, assuring them of his commitment to providing purposeful leadership and supporting initiatives aimed at improving the welfare and development of the people.
Earlier, the APC women leaders, led by the Women Leader of Fiidi Council Ward, Hon. Mrs. Cynthia Fanen, expressed concern over what they described as the poor treatment of women following the last elections.
They appealed to Dr. Gisaor to intervene on their behalf, noting that his elevation to a national assignment had placed him in a position to assist in addressing their concerns.
Similarly, the United Friends Association, Makurdi, led by its President, Mr. Simon Mlumunga, urged Dr. Gisaor to carry the association along in the discharge of his responsibilities.
Mlumunga pledged the association’s support and commitment to assisting Dr. Gisaor whenever their participation was required. He also reaffirmed the members’ resolve to support the re-election of Governor Hyacinth Alia and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
Also speaking, Mr. Anthony Terwase Iorhule, an aide to the Executive Director and a member of the association, expressed appreciation for the visit and commended the group for identifying with Dr. Gisaor in his new national assignment.
Iorhule said the United Friends Association had already begun to benefit from Dr. Gisaor’s appointment and urged members to give him their wholehearted support as he carries out his responsibilities.
