Gisaor Hosts Mbatiav In-Laws In Celebration Of Federal Appointment

The Executive Director, Housing Finance and Account, Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Dr. Vincent Iorja Gisaor, has received members of the Mbatiav nation, his in-laws, who visited his residence in Makurdi to celebrate his appointment to the federal position.

Receiving the delegation on Sunday, Dr. Gisaor thanked Almighty God for the grace and opportunity to serve the nation, while expressing appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for finding him worthy of the appointment.

He also acknowledged the role of the Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, in facilitating his appointment as Executive Director, Housing Finance and Account, Federal Housing Authority.

Gisaor said he was pleased with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu and the developmental strides of Governor Alia, describing both leaders as exceptional in their respective offices.

He urged the people of Mbatiav to continue supporting Governor Alia and President Tinubu, particularly as the country approaches the 2027 general elections.

Speaking on behalf of the visiting delegation, the Orya of Mbawyan, Uwundu in Mbatiav, Elder Emmanuel Jeiyol Ajabi, expressed delight over the appointment of Dr. Gisaor, describing him as their son-in-law and praying for God's guidance and success in his new national assignment.

Elder Ajabi expressed confidence in Gisaor's ability to discharge his responsibilities effectively and make a positive impact in his new position.

He also charged Gisaor's wife, Mrs. Abigail Kpenbeen Gisaor, to continue providing the necessary support to her husband to enable him succeed in his new responsibility.

Similarly, the Kwaseya of Mbawyan, Mrs. Victoria Mbakpe, commended Dr. Gisaor for his goodwill and gestures towards the community.

Mbakpe, who spoke on behalf of the women, pledged their continued support and commitment to encouraging their husbands to work for the success of Governor Alia, whom she described as their son, as well as President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The visit provided an opportunity for the Mbatiav delegation to congratulate Dr. Gisaor and formally identify with him on his elevation to the federal appointment.
