Gisaor Congratulates Alia On Emergence As APC Governorship Candidate, Calls For Unity Ahead Of 2027

The Executive Director, Housing Finance and Accounts (HFA), Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Dr. Vincent Iorja Gisaor, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Benue State, His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 Benue State Governorship Election.

In a congratulatory message, Gisaor described the APC governorship primary as a contest among brothers and loyal members of the same political family, stressing that the exercise should not be viewed as a war in which there must be a victor and a vanquished.

According to him, the outcome of the primary should instead serve as an opportunity to strengthen the APC and deepen unity among its members as the party prepares for the 2027 general elections.

He urged all aspirants who participated in the primary but did not emerge as the party's candidate to accept the outcome in the spirit of party loyalty and return to the fold to work with Governor Alia and other party leaders toward building a formidable campaign structure.

Gisaor also appealed to Governor Alia to extend a hand of fellowship to all members who may have grievances arising from the primary, urging him to pursue genuine reconciliation and inclusiveness in the interest of the party and the people of Benue State.

The FHA executive further congratulated other successful candidates who emerged from the various APC primary elections across the state, urging them to see their emergence as a call to greater responsibility and teamwork.

He emphasized that the party's success in the 2027 elections would depend largely on unity, sacrifice, discipline and a shared commitment to the collective interest of the APC and the people of Benue State.

Speaking by telephone from Osun State, where he is currently engaged in a national assignment, Gisaor called on APC members across Benue State to close ranks and commence concerted efforts toward securing victory for the party in the forthcoming elections.

He expressed optimism that with reconciliation, unity of purpose and sustained mobilisation, the APC would emerge victorious across the various elective positions in the 2027 elections.

Gisaor therefore urged party faithful to put aside personal differences and work collectively toward consolidating the gains of the APC while supporting the party's candidates at all levels.

He wished Governor Alia success in his renewed political journey and expressed confidence that a united APC would be better positioned to achieve its electoral objectives in 2027.
