Gisaor Applauds Tinubu For Approving Additional Army Formations In Benue

The Executive Director, Housing Finance and Accounts, Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Dr. Vincent Iorja Gisaor, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving the establishment of additional Army formations across Benue State.

Dr. Gisaor described the decision as a bold and timely intervention aimed at strengthening security and protecting the lives and property of residents, particularly in communities affected by persistent insecurity.

He said the deployment of additional Army formations to strategic locations across the state would help curb attacks and other security challenges, while restoring confidence among residents, farmers, investors and other stakeholders.

According to him, improved security would also create a more conducive environment for the Federal Government to expand development initiatives and projects in affected communities, particularly in the areas of affordable housing and critical infrastructure.

The FHA Executive Director further commended President Tinubu for what he described as his continued commitment to the welfare and security of the people of Benue State. He expressed optimism that the new Army formations would contribute significantly to restoring lasting peace, stability and sustainable development across the state.

Dr. Gisaor also urged communities hosting the Army formations to cooperate fully with the Federal Government and military authorities, stressing that effective collaboration between security agencies and local communities would be essential to the success of the initiative.

He noted that such cooperation would not only enhance the effectiveness of the security deployment but also enable residents to derive maximum benefits from the increased security presence.
