APC Chieftain Udebhulu Felicitates Okpebholo At 56, Hails His Leadership, Commitment To Edo Development

An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and political strategist, Prince Kelly Udebhulu, has congratulated Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on the occasion of his 56th birthday, describing him as a committed leader whose administration is steadily working to reposition the state and improve the lives of its people.

Udebhulu, in a congratulatory message to the Governor, joined family members, political associates, government officials and the people of Edo State in celebrating Okpebholo on the milestone, praying for God’s continued protection, wisdom, strength and good health as he pilots the affairs of the state.

He described the Governor’s birthday as not only an occasion to celebrate his personal journey, but also an opportunity to acknowledge his service to Edo State and his commitment to the responsibilities entrusted to him by the people.

According to Udebhulu, Governor Okpebholo has demonstrated courage, accessibility and determination in the discharge of his responsibilities, while maintaining a strong focus on connecting government with the people at the grassroots.

He said the Governor’s leadership style reflects a belief that government must remain responsive to the aspirations of ordinary citizens and that development must be felt across communities.

Udebhulu noted that Okpebholo assumed office at a time when Edo people were looking forward to renewed attention to infrastructure, human capital development, security, education, healthcare, economic growth and other areas critical to the state’s progress.

He expressed optimism that the Governor would continue to consolidate on the administration’s development agenda and deliver more programmes and projects capable of improving the quality of life of Edo citizens.

The APC chieftain particularly commended what he described as the Governor’s emphasis on grassroots engagement, saying that effective leadership requires constant communication with the people and a clear understanding of the challenges confronting communities.

He said Okpebholo’s approach to governance has continued to demonstrate that political leadership should not be limited to activities at the state capital, but must extend to the wards, local governments and communities where the people live.

Udebhulu also praised the Governor’s political maturity and commitment to building a stronger political family, noting that inclusion and unity remain essential to the stability and success of any administration.

He described Okpebholo as a leader with the potential to leave a lasting legacy in Edo State if he sustains his focus on people-oriented governance and continues to place the interests of the state above personal and political considerations.

“Today, I join the good people of Edo State, at home and in the diaspora, to celebrate our Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on the occasion of his 56th birthday.

“This is more than a celebration of another year; it is an opportunity to appreciate a man who has accepted the enormous responsibility of leading our dear state and to acknowledge his efforts towards building a stronger and more prosperous Edo.

“Your Excellency, your journey in public service has been defined by courage, resilience, humility and a determination to serve. As Governor, you have demonstrated that leadership requires the ability to listen to the people, take difficult decisions and remain focused on the greater good.

“May your administration continue to enjoy the support and cooperation of the people as you pursue programmes and policies aimed at transforming our communities and creating a better future for generations to come.

“May God continue to bless you, strengthen you and grant you the grace to finish strong in the service of our dear Edo State.”

Udebhulu further called on the people of Edo State to continue supporting initiatives aimed at promoting peace, unity and development, stressing that the progress of the state requires the collective efforts of government, political leaders, traditional institutions, the private sector and citizens.

He expressed confidence that Governor Okpebholo would continue to provide purposeful leadership and remain committed to the development of Edo State.
