2027: JUAofAfrica Challenges Aniocha South To Break From Political Repetition, Embrace New Direction
The Delta State House of Assembly candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for Aniocha South Constituency, Hon. Jeffrey Ugochukwu Adigwe, popularly known as JUAofAfrica, has challenged the people of the constituency to critically reflect on past political choices and embrace a new direction focused on accountability, purposeful representation and sustainable development.
Adigwe, popularly identified with the message of Justice, Unity and Accountability, said the 2027 election provides an opportunity for residents to examine the quality of leadership they want and make decisions based on issues, competence, character and the capacity to serve.
He said the call for change should not be interpreted as a call for anger or political hostility, but as an invitation for residents to reflect on their experiences and demand a stronger standard of representation.
According to him, Aniocha South has enormous human and economic potential, but unlocking that potential requires leadership that listens to communities, engages stakeholders and consistently places the interests of the people at the centre of decision-making.
Adigwe said his vision is built around people-centred representation, transparency, accountability and practical development, with particular attention to infrastructure, education, healthcare, youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, agriculture and economic opportunities.
He further stressed the importance of carrying traditional institutions, community leaders, women, youths, professionals, farmers and other stakeholders along in the development process.
The NDC candidate maintained that political representation should go beyond elections and speeches, arguing that elected representatives must remain accessible to the people and responsive to the issues affecting their communities.
He also urged residents to reject politics driven by personal attacks and focus instead on ideas, policies and the capacity of candidates to provide meaningful representation.
“Our votes are our voices, and our choices will shape our future,” Adigwe said, urging the people of Aniocha South to approach the 2027 election with courage, wisdom and a clear understanding of what is at stake.
He expressed optimism that a new approach to representation could help strengthen community participation, expand opportunities for young people and create a more accountable relationship between the people and their elected representatives.
Adigwe therefore called on residents across Aniocha South to join the conversation about the future of the constituency, stressing that meaningful change requires collective participation rather than the effort of one individual.
“This time, Aniocha South, let us get it right,” he declared.
