2027: JUAofAfrica Calls For Peaceful, Issue-Based Politics In Aniocha South

The Delta State House of Assembly candidate for Aniocha South Constituency under the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Jeffrey Ugochukwu Adigwe (JUAofAfrica), has called for unity, peaceful political engagement, and responsible participation as preparations for the 2027 elections gather momentum.

Addressing members of the NDC in Aniocha South, Adigwe urged party members and residents to place the future and development of the constituency above personal interests, political disagreements, or divisions.

He encouraged voters to carefully examine the vision, plans, character, competence, and record of every candidate before making their choice, stressing that political decisions should be based on the ability to serve the people and deliver meaningful development.

According to him, the people of Aniocha South deserve representation that is accessible, accountable, transparent, and genuinely committed to improving their quality of life.

Adigwe said his own vision for the constituency centres on effective representation, improved infrastructure, quality healthcare, better educational opportunities, youth and women empowerment, agricultural development, entrepreneurship, and support for local businesses.

He further emphasised the importance of engaging traditional rulers, community leaders, youths, women, farmers, traders, professionals, and other stakeholders in the development process, saying sustainable progress can only be achieved when the people are actively involved.

The NDC candidate also called for peaceful campaigns, urging supporters to promote their candidates through issues, ideas, and constructive engagement rather than personal attacks or inflammatory rhetoric.

"Let us remain united, respectful, peaceful, and responsible as we participate in the democratic process. Our politics should be about the people, their aspirations, and the future we want to build for the next generation," he said.

Adigwe maintained that political leadership should be regarded as a responsibility to serve rather than an avenue for personal recognition or enrichment, reiterating his commitment to the principles of integrity, accountability, transparency, and service to the people.

He urged NDC members to work together in strengthening the party at the grassroots while respecting the right of every voter to make an informed and independent choice.

Supporters of JUAofAfrica have described his approach as evidence of a leadership philosophy centred on dialogue, inclusion, and responsible representation. They expressed confidence in his ability to bring fresh ideas and a development-focused agenda to the Delta State House of Assembly.

As the 2027 election approaches, Adigwe called on the people of Aniocha South to keep the interests of their communities at the heart of the political process, saying the ultimate objective should be to build a constituency where every voice matters, opportunities are expanded, and development reaches every community.

He concluded by urging residents to remain peaceful and united, stressing that the future of Aniocha South should remain the collective priority of all its people.
