Walking In Love Defines The Prophetic Church, Says Evangelist Eloka

Evangelist (Hon.) Chinedu Jude Eloka, Mission Servant of Love and Eternal Life Mission, has called on Christians to embrace love, truth, and righteousness as the defining qualities of the prophetic church, stressing that genuine Christianity is expressed through a life led by the Holy Spirit.

Speaking in his Mid-Week Meditation for Wednesday, July 1, 2026, titled "The Prophetic Church," Eloka referenced Ephesians 4:15–16, urging believers to remain steadfast in truth and love as they grow into the likeness of Christ, the Head of the Church.

According to the cleric, the prophetic church is not merely identified by spiritual gifts or religious activities, but by the presence and leadership of the Holy Spirit, who guides believers into all truth and produces lives marked by love, unity, and selfless service.

He explained that Christians who walk in the Spirit naturally demonstrate righteousness and genuine concern for one another, adding that such virtues strengthen the body of Christ and promote spiritual growth.

Eloka observed that while many congregations exist today, not all reflect the biblical model of the prophetic church. He cautioned against churches driven by selfish interests and human ambitions, insisting that true worship must be rooted in purity, truth, and charity.

"The prophetic church is one where Christ is truly the Head, the Holy Spirit directs His people, and every member contributes in love for the growth of the entire body," he said.

He further described Christianity as a divine calling rather than a movement, denomination, or sect, emphasizing that it is a fellowship of believers committed to living according to God's truth.

The evangelist encouraged Christians to serve God sincerely and allow the Holy Spirit to shape their daily lives, noting that walking in love is the fulfilment of God's purpose for humanity and the clearest evidence of authentic faith.

He concluded by urging believers to remain committed to lives of truth, unity, and sacrificial love, reminding them that love remains the enduring mark of the prophetic church.
