Ochei's Senate Bid Gains Momentum As Supporters Hail His Character, Competence, Record of Service

Support continues to build for the Delta North Senatorial aspiration of former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Engr.) Victor Onyekachi Ochei, Esq., FNSE, with supporters describing him as a leader whose character, competence, and track record of public service distinguish him as the ideal choice to represent the Anioma people in the National Assembly.

In a statement, Samuel Chukwudebe said Ochei's decades of experience in public service, administration, engineering, law, and community development have positioned him as a credible candidate capable of providing effective representation for Delta North.

Born on February 25, 1969, in Ogbekenu, Onicha-Olona, Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State, Ochei has built an impressive career spanning engineering, law, public administration, politics, philanthropy, and sports administration. His academic background includes studies at the University of Benin, Leeds Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom, and the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

According to the statement, Ochei's greatest strength lies not only in his academic qualifications but also in his demonstrated commitment to public service. During his years in the Delta State House of Assembly, where he rose to serve as Speaker, he was credited with championing initiatives in education, infrastructure development, youth and women empowerment, and grassroots development.

His service to the nation later continued as Executive Director of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), while he currently serves as President of the Nigeria Tennis Federation, further reflecting his administrative experience and leadership capacity.

The statement noted that Delta North is at a crucial point in its political journey and requires a representative with proven experience, integrity, and the ability to deliver meaningful development.

It emphasized that Ochei is not merely seeking elective office but offering a lifetime of tested leadership, competence, and dedication to the people.

The supporters maintained that as the 2027 general elections approach, the people of Anioma have an opportunity to choose a leader whose record of service, credibility, and vision aligns with the aspirations of Delta North.
