OK-A New Nigeria Movement Endorses Samuel Bunas, Pledges Support For Yenagoa Constituency I Bid
The Coordinator of the OK-A New Nigeria Movement, Bayelsa State Chapter, Comrade Josiah Oyiyin Prince, has formally endorsed the candidature of Hon. Samuel M. Bunas, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer for Yenagoa Constituency I, while pledging the movement's full support ahead of the forthcoming elections.
Speaking during a media interactive session held, Comrade Josiah outlined the vision, principles, and objectives of the OK-A New Nigeria Movement, emphasizing its commitment to promoting good governance, accountability, inclusiveness, and people-oriented leadership across Bayelsa State and Nigeria at large.
Following the media engagement, the movement's coordinator led a delegation on a courtesy visit to Hon. Samuel Bunas after his emergence as the NDC candidate for Yenagoa Constituency I.
During the visit, Comrade Josiah congratulated the lawmaker aspirant on his victory at the party primaries, describing his emergence as a reflection of his dedication, credibility, and commitment to grassroots development.
"As a movement we are committed to supporting credible leaders, we are confident in Hon. Bunas' ability to effectively represent the people of Yenagoa Constituency I. His emergence is well deserved, and we are proud to identify with his aspiration," he stated.
In a symbolic show of solidarity, the coordinator presented a branded short-sleeve shirt to Hon. Bunas on behalf of the movement. He explained that the gift represented the group's support for his candidacy and confidence in his leadership capacity.
Comrade Josiah further assured the NDC flagbearer of the unwavering support of members and supporters of the OK-A New Nigeria Movement across Yenagoa Constituency I and beyond, stressing that the movement remains committed to backing leaders who share its vision of building a better Bayelsa State and a New Nigeria.
Responding, Hon. Samuel M. Bunas expressed appreciation to the delegation for the visit, endorsement, and gesture of goodwill.
He pledged to justify the confidence reposed in him by providing quality representation, responsive leadership, and dedicated service to the people of Yenagoa Constituency I.
