Ebonyi First Lady Hailed As Beacon Of Hope For Transformative Humanitarian Impact

The First Lady of Ebonyi State, Her Excellency, Chief Mrs. Uzoamaka Mary-Maudline Nwifuru, has been described as a beacon of hope whose compassion, humanitarian service, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of vulnerable citizens continue to transform lives across the state.

In a tribute issued on Friday, the Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State, Comrade Joseph Ugochukwu Onwe, praised the First Lady for her exemplary leadership and selfless service, describing her as "a radiant ray of sunshine" whose impact is being felt in communities throughout Ebonyi.

According to Onwe, Chief Mrs. Nwifuru has remained deeply prayerful and steadfast in supporting the administration of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru while dedicating herself to initiatives that promote hope, empowerment, and social inclusion.

He noted that successive First Ladies in Ebonyi State had distinguished themselves through impactful humanitarian programmes, including the Widowcare Foundation, the Mother and Child Care Initiative (MCCI), and the Family Succour and Upliftment Foundation.
He stated that the current First Lady has built upon this legacy through the BERWO Foundation, which has continued to uplift vulnerable families, empower women and youths, and provide support to the less privileged across the state.

"Today, through the laudable initiatives of the BERWO Foundation, multitudes of individuals and vulnerable families are being uplifted, empowered, and given a renewed sense of hope," Onwe said.

He offered prayers for greater grace, strength, and divine guidance for the First Lady as she continues her humanitarian mission, assuring her of the unwavering support and prayers of the people of Ebonyi State.

Onwe also expressed confidence in the continued leadership of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, stating that the people remain committed to supporting his administration and describing his second-term ambition as "sacrosanct."

He concluded by celebrating the First Lady with the appellations "Black Diamond," "Ogbankpu Global," and "Woman of Profound Faith," while wishing her a pleasant weekend.
