Governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, has continued his administration’s drive to improve workers’ welfare with the development of 143 duplexes for civil and public servants at the Sen. Chief Chris Nwankwo Estate in Abakaliki.

The housing project, described as one of the landmark achievements of the administration’s People’s Charter of Needs agenda, is aimed at providing decent and affordable accommodation for workers in the state.
Supporters of the governor have praised the initiative, describing Nwifuru as a compassionate leader committed to improving the living standards of the people and empowering citizens through impactful governance.

The estate project is also seen as part of the government’s broader efforts to strengthen infrastructure development and enhance the welfare of civil servants across the state.
Residents and beneficiaries expressed optimism that the initiative would ease accommodation challenges and further motivate workers toward greater productivity in the public service.

The administration of Governor Nwifuru has continued to embark on several people-oriented projects in education, housing, healthcare and road infrastructure under its “Journey of Higher Expectations” mantra.
