Nwifuru Expands Education Infrastructure With Massive School Projects In Ebonyi Communities

Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has continued his administration’s drive to reposition the education sector in Ebonyi State through the construction of modern school infrastructure across several communities in the state.

One of the benefiting communities is Oriuzor in Ezza North Local Government Area, where major educational projects are currently ongoing to improve the learning environment for students.

At Community Secondary School, Unwuigboke Oriuzor, the state government is constructing a 22-classroom model secondary school aimed at providing students with a more conducive atmosphere for learning. The project includes administrative offices, halls, convenience facilities, and other structures designed to meet modern educational standards.

In the same school, another 12-classroom block is also under construction to further expand access to quality learning spaces for students in the community.

The ongoing projects come against the backdrop of the previously dilapidated and inadequate classroom structures that had served the school for years, highlighting the urgent need for government intervention.

Also receiving attention is Community School, Unwuezeali, still within Oriuzor community, where the governor is constructing an additional 12-classroom block as part of efforts to strengthen educational infrastructure in rural communities.

The projects form part of broader initiatives by the Nwifuru administration to improve access to quality education and create better opportunities for children across Ebonyi State.

Government officials say similar projects are ongoing in several other communities as the administration steadily advances its mission of transforming the education sector through strategic infrastructure development.

Speaking on the development, the Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media, Leo Ekene Oketa, noted that although the state may not yet have reached its desired destination, visible progress is being made through deliberate investments in the future of Ebonyi children.

He stated that every child deserves to learn in a safe, decent, and inspiring environment, adding that the governor has continued to demonstrate through action that education remains a top priority of his administration.
