Nwifuru Administration Flags Off Construction Of Nsugbe-Uga Street In Abakaliki

The Ebonyi State Government has commenced the construction of the Nsugbe-Uga Street road in Abakaliki, marking the first major government intervention on the road since the creation of the state.

The project, which is being executed under the People’s Charter of Needs administration of Governor Francis Nwifuru, is aimed at improving road infrastructure and enhancing accessibility within the state capital.

According to a statement issued on Saturday by Dr. Boniface Nwankwo, Special Assistant to the Governor on Documentation, the road had remained neglected for years without any form of government attention.
He noted that the commencement of work on the road demonstrates the commitment of Governor Nwifuru’s administration to addressing infrastructural deficits and delivering democratic dividends to the people of Ebonyi State.

Dr. Nwankwo further expressed confidence that the current administration would continue to achieve more developmental milestones across the state.

“More can be achieved with Governor Nwifuru on the saddle,” he stated.

The road project is expected to ease movement for residents and contribute to the ongoing urban development efforts in Abakaliki.
