APC Imo Convenes Critical Meeting For Owerri Zone Leaders

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State has scheduled a crucial meeting for party stakeholders and leaders from the Owerri Zone ahead of ongoing political activities within the party.

According to a notice issued by the State Assistant Publicity Secretary, Ambrose Nwaogwugwu, the meeting was convened by the Imo State APC Vice Chairman for Owerri Zone, Chief Justus Ogu, KSM.

Those invited to the meeting include all elected State Executive Committee members of the APC from Owerri Zone, all APC Ward Chairmen from the 105 wards in the zone, as well as Local Government Party Chairmen from the nine Local Government Areas that make up Owerri Zone.

The meeting is scheduled to hold on Saturday, May 9, 2026, by 10:00 a.m. prompt at the State Party Secretariat located at 47 Okigwe Road, Owerri, Imo State.

Party officials described the gathering as “crucial and important,” although specific details of the agenda were not disclosed in the notice.
