APC Direct Primaries Strengthen Internal Democracy -- Uzodimma

Governor Hope Uzodimma has said the successful conduct of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Assembly direct primary elections across the country has further strengthened the democratic foundation and internal processes of the party.

The governor stated that the peaceful and orderly conduct of the exercise in Imo State reflected the unity and maturity of members of the APC in the state.

According to him, credible candidates emerged for the various Federal Constituencies and Senatorial Districts during the exercise, while the party now awaits the official ratification and release of the results by the national leadership of the APC.

Uzodimma commended party members and leaders in Imo State for ensuring transparency and peaceful participation throughout the primaries.

He expressed optimism about the party’s prospects as it moves into the next phase of the electoral process, stressing that members remain committed to the unity, progress, and success of the APC.

The governor also urged party faithful to sustain the spirit of cooperation and discipline that characterised the primary elections.
