Ughelli North 10,000-Man March Set For October 3

A 10,000-man peaceful march has been scheduled to hold in Ughelli North, Delta State, on Saturday, October 3, 2026, as participants call for good governance, accountability, transparency, justice and a better future for Nigeria.

The organisers said the march is intended to provide citizens with an opportunity to peacefully express their views and participate in the democratic process.

According to the organisers, the gathering will bring together Nigerians who share concerns about governance and the need for greater accountability and transparency in public affairs.

Participants are expected to assemble at Done Rose from 9:00 a.m. for the march.

The organisers urged participants to conduct themselves peacefully throughout the exercise, stressing the importance of respecting the rights of other citizens while expressing their convictions.

The march is being promoted under the theme, “A New Nigeria Is Possible,” with the organisers encouraging citizens to make their voices heard through peaceful and lawful civic participation.
