Ojiezele Steals Show At Edo Central Campaign Tour In Esan South East
The Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. (Chief) Sunday Osezua Ojiezele, attracted significant attention during the All Progressives Congress (APC) Edo Central Senatorial District interactive campaign tour in Esan South East Local Government Area, as enthusiastic party supporters rallied behind his re-election bid for 2027.
The campaign tour, which held at Ewohimi and Ubiaja, witnessed an impressive display of solidarity from party faithful, stakeholders and grassroots supporters, with Ojiezele's arrival at the venues greeted with excitement and cheers.
At Ewohimi, the lawmaker's entrance generated a carnival-like atmosphere as supporters displayed placards bearing his photographs and campaign messages in a show of support for his political ambition.
A similar reception greeted him at Ubiaja, where party members and supporters from the various wards gathered for the interactive campaign tour. The events provided an opportunity for the lawmaker to engage with constituents and strengthen his grassroots support ahead of the 2027 elections.
The campaign meetings at Ewohimi and Ubiaja featured addresses by key party leaders, including the Esan South East APC Chairman, Elder Goddy Obainoke; the Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Tega Amiegbebhor; and the party's apex leader in the area, Hon. Victor Eboigbe.
The Edo State APC Chairman, Jaret Emperor Tenebe, and Governor Monday Okpebholo also expressed appreciation to party leaders, members and supporters for their commitment to the party.
The speakers urged the electorate to remain supportive of the APC, emphasising that continuity in political leadership could create opportunities for development, employment, appointments and other benefits for the people.
They also called on party faithful to mobilise support for Ojiezele's re-election, urging them to vote massively for him in 2027.
The appeal was met with enthusiastic responses from the crowd, who voiced their support for the lawmaker and the party.
