Nigeria At 66: Udebhulu Calls For National Unity, Progress

Prince Kelly Udebhulu, an APC chieftain, political strategist and communication expert, has called on Nigerians to remain united and committed to the progress and development of the country as Nigeria marks its 66th Independence Anniversary.

Udebhulu, in a goodwill message to Nigerians, urged citizens to put aside unnecessary divisions and work collectively towards building a peaceful, prosperous and stronger nation.

He emphasised the importance of patriotism, peaceful coexistence, mutual respect and responsible citizenship, noting that Nigeria's diversity should remain a source of strength rather than division.

According to him, the responsibility of building a better Nigeria rests not only with government but also with citizens, professionals, business owners, young people, community leaders and other stakeholders.

Udebhulu called for greater attention to issues that directly affect the lives of Nigerians, including economic opportunities, education, security, infrastructure, employment and improved living standards.

He also urged political leaders and citizens to respect democratic differences and ensure that political disagreements do not undermine national unity.

“On this Independence Anniversary, I call for the unity and progress of our dear nation. Nigeria belongs to all of us, and we must continue to work together, irrespective of our political, ethnic, religious or regional differences, for the good of our country,” Udebhulu said.

He further encouraged Nigerians to remain hopeful and contribute positively to their communities, stressing that sustainable national development requires collective effort.

The call comes as Nigeria celebrates 66 years of independence, with national leaders and civic organisations similarly using the anniversary to emphasise unity, patriotism and the collective responsibility of citizens in building a stronger country.

Udebhulu congratulated Nigerians at home and abroad on the anniversary and wished the country continued peace, stability, development and prosperity.

“Happy 66th Independence Anniversary to all Nigerians. May God continue to bless our nation and guide our leaders and citizens towards a more united, peaceful and prosperous Nigeria,” he added.
