Kaduna Central Women Coordinators Strategise On Door-To-Door Campaign Ahead Of 2027 Elections
Women Coordinators from across the seven local government areas of Kaduna Central Senatorial District have met at the campaign office of Hon. Adams Haruna Ekene in Sabon Tasha, Kaduna State, to strategise on grassroots mobilisation and door-to-door campaigning ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The strategic meeting, held on Sunday, October 11, 2026, focused on strengthening the women's campaign structure, enhancing community engagement and developing effective strategies to mobilise support ahead of the forthcoming elections.
The gathering brought together Women Coordinators representing the seven local government areas within Kaduna Central Senatorial District, providing an opportunity for stakeholders to deliberate on the way forward and coordinate their efforts towards building a stronger grassroots political network.
Discussions centred on the importance of taking campaign activities directly to the people through household visits, community engagement and sustained interaction with residents across the district.
The proposed door-to-door campaign is expected to provide an avenue for the coordinators to engage voters at the grassroots, communicate their candidate's message and strengthen relationships with communities ahead of the elections.
The meeting also underscored the importance of unity, teamwork, effective coordination and the active participation of women in political mobilisation.
Women have continued to play significant roles in grassroots political activities across Nigeria, particularly in community organisation, voter sensitisation and mobilisation. Their involvement in door-to-door campaigns provides an opportunity for political groups to reach households directly and engage residents on issues of leadership and representation.
With the 2027 general elections approaching, the meeting represents an effort by the women coordinators to begin early preparations, consolidate their organisational structure and ensure effective coordination of campaign activities across the seven local government areas.
The coordinators are expected to translate the deliberations into practical grassroots activities aimed at expanding their reach and strengthening their campaign network ahead of the elections.
The meeting forms part of the broader political preparations taking shape across Nigeria as political stakeholders and campaign groups intensify mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 electoral season.
