Gisaor’s Expertise Draws National Engagements, Community Recognition
Dr. Vincent Iorja Gisaor, Executive Director (Housing Finance and Account) of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Abuja, is set to participate in a series of intellectual and professional engagements, including a presentation at the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) and an award ceremony organised by the Benue community in Rivers State.
The engagements, announced by his Chief Media Officer, Mase Emmanuel, come less than two months after Gisaor assumed office at the FHA and are expected to provide opportunities for him to contribute his professional knowledge to discussions on national security, economic development and public-sector administration.
At NILDS, an institution of the National Assembly in Abuja, Gisaor is expected to deliver a presentation on the topic, “The Middle East and Nigeria’s Security: Socio-Political and Economic Perspectives.”
The presentation will examine the connections between developments in the Middle East and Nigeria’s security environment, with particular attention to the socio-political and economic dimensions of the issues.
Gisaor is also expected to participate in a capacity-building workshop for procurement practitioners and stakeholders organised by the Association of Public Procurement Practitioners of Nigeria (APPPON) in mid-November 2026, where he will deliver a goodwill message.
His participation is expected to contribute to discussions on professional development, institutional collaboration and the promotion of accountability in public procurement and administration.
In another engagement scheduled for mid-November, the FHA executive director is expected to receive an award from the Benue community in Rivers State. According to the announcement, the recognition will be his first since assuming office and is intended to acknowledge his professional contributions and standing.
Gisaor’s professional background spans economics, law and public-sector administration, areas that provide a foundation for his participation in discussions on governance, institutional development and national economic issues.
His forthcoming engagements also highlight the role of professional expertise and knowledge-sharing in public service, particularly in strengthening institutions and supporting informed decision-making.
The announcement further acknowledged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Gisaor as Executive Director (Housing Finance and Account) of the Federal Housing Authority, Abuja.
It expressed the expectation that Gisaor would continue to apply his experience and professional knowledge to the responsibilities of his office and contribute to the FHA’s mandate in the housing sector.
As the scheduled engagements approach, his participation in the academic, professional and community events is expected to provide additional platforms for sharing ideas and strengthening professional relationships across sectors.
