2027 Elections: JUAofAfrica Inaugurates NDC Canvassers In Ogwashi-Uku, Targets More Communities
Ogwashi-Uku witnessed a gathering of youths and political participants as Hon. Jeffrey Ugochukwu Adigwe, popularly known as JUAofAfrica, attended the inauguration of canvassers mobilising support for all Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidates ahead of the 2027 elections.
The event brought together young people and party participants in an atmosphere of enthusiasm, unity and grassroots political engagement, with discussions centred on strengthening community participation and extending the party’s outreach across the area.
The inauguration marks an effort to organise canvassers to engage residents, communicate the party’s message and encourage participation in the political process. Their role will involve reaching out to individuals and communities, listening to local concerns and sharing information about the candidates and their programmes.
For Adigwe, the gathering also provided an opportunity to connect with young people and other participants around the importance of peaceful political engagement, cooperation and a shared commitment to the future of their communities.
As the NDC expands its grassroots activities, the planned outreach is expected to extend to Ubulu-Uku, Okiti and Nsakwa, where the campaign team intends to continue its engagement with residents.
The planned visits will provide further opportunities for interaction with community members and discussions about issues affecting their daily lives, including youth opportunities, infrastructure, education, healthcare and local economic development.
Grassroots canvassing remains an important feature of political participation, allowing candidates and party representatives to communicate their positions directly to residents while giving communities an opportunity to express their expectations.
The message from Ogwashi-Uku is one of continued engagement, with the movement looking towards the next phase of its activities in neighbouring communities.
As the political process continues, the emphasis remains on organisation, dialogue, peaceful participation and reaching more people across the constituency.
