OZA1STBORN Donates ₦100,000 To Oza Primary School For Environmental Cleanup

In a demonstration of community responsibility and concern for the welfare of schoolchildren, OZA1STBORN, on behalf of the OZA UNITED FORUM FOR PEACE AND DEVELOPMENT, has donated ₦100,000 to Oza Primary School, Oza-Aibiokunla, to support the clearing of overgrown grasses around the school premises.

The intervention followed concerns over the condition of the school environment, particularly the overgrown vegetation around the school premises and fields.

The donation is expected to enable the school community engage workers to clear the grasses and improve the surroundings, making the environment safer, cleaner and more conducive for teaching and learning.

Speaking on the initiative, BIE-OZA1STBORN, on behalf of the OZA UNITED FORUM FOR PEACE AND DEVELOPMENT, said the intervention was motivated by the need for members of the community to take responsibility for the wellbeing of children and the maintenance of public institutions within Oza.

“Our children can’t cut such overgrown fields and, as such, they need help from the community to maintain the fields and trim the grasses surrounding the school,” he said.

The gesture highlights the role of community participation in complementing efforts towards the maintenance of schools and the provision of a conducive learning environment for pupils.

The OZA UNITED FORUM FOR PEACE AND DEVELOPMENT also called on other well-meaning individuals, groups and stakeholders from Oza and beyond to contribute their quota towards improving the learning environment and general welfare of pupils.
