Gisaor Receives Ter Tiv In Abuja, Pledges Transparency, Accountability

The Executive Director, Housing Finance and Account, Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Dr. Vincent Iorja Gisaor, has pledged to operate an open-door administration anchored on transparency, accountability and inclusiveness in the discharge of his responsibilities.

Dr. Gisaor made the commitment when the Ter Tiv in Abuja, His Royal Highness Joseph Aneh, paid him a courtesy visit at his office at the headquarters of the Federal Housing Authority in Abuja. He said his administration would remain open and accountable while contributing his quota towards the success of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration and the actualisation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The Executive Director also reaffirmed his support for President Tinubu's bid for a second term in office in 2027, urging Nigerians to sustain the policies and programmes of the administration aimed at addressing the nation's economic challenges. He stressed that the gains of the ongoing reforms needed to be sustained for the country to achieve greater economic stability and development.

Dr. Gisaor further pledged his continued support to the Tiv traditional institution in Abuja, urging members of the traditional council to remain united, peaceful and committed to the advancement of the Tiv people. He noted that unity and peaceful coexistence remained essential ingredients for the collective progress and development of the Tiv Nation.

Earlier, the Ter Tiv in Abuja, His Royal Highness Joseph Aneh, expressed satisfaction with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Dr. Vincent Iorja Gisaor to the Federal Housing Authority. He described the appointment as well deserved, noting that Dr. Gisaor possesses the requisite academic, professional and leadership credentials to deliver effectively on his mandate.

The Ter Tiv charged the Executive Director to be a good ambassador of the Tiv Nation, work diligently and maintain an open-door administration through which Nigerians can benefit from his wealth of experience and expertise. He thereafter blessed Dr. Gisaor and prayed God to grant him wisdom, strength, good health and the grace to succeed in his new assignment.
